If it's not Baroque don't fix it

Grey and pink - one of my favourite colour combinations. When I first started making books I only made them for myself and started to find I was gathering enough books to fill my bookcase! After exhausting all my family’s birthdays I started selling them in a local shop before opening my store online. I still make plenty of books for my family now though and all my new designs come from ideas for presents for my special friends. Thank goodness they all like books (or at least tell me they do!) 💕📚

If it’s not Baroque, Don’t fix it - a line borrowed from one of my favourite cartoons! This Coptic Stitch journal is one which I made to sell in my Etsy Shop. It has exposed stitching the spine and closes with a lovely shiny satin ribbon. I love how the stitching looks on the spine in contrast to the coloured pages which wrap each section. There are lots of different ways to do a Coptic Stitch and after lots of practice I found the one which suited me and the books I wanted to make. I hope you love it too.
